Iruñeko gotzainak, Alfontso Borrokalaria erregearen eskariz, Orreagako abegi-erakundea sortu zuen 1127. urte inguruan, Done Jakue bidean Pirinioak zeharkatzen zituzten erromesei laguntza emateko xedearekin.
Nafarroako Gobernuak berriki eraikina zaharberri duenez, horma zahar hauen babesean, instalazio eta zerbitzu onenak dituen aterpetxea eskaintzeko aukera dugu. Bertan, erromesak, Bideak Nafarroan abiatzen duen etapa neketsuaren ostean, ondare-multzo historiko bikain honetan atseden hartu eta gozatzeko parada izango du.

ospitaleak, elizak, klaustroak eta kaperak eraiki zituzten erregeak,

bere kofradia eta erromesak,
eta bertan izandako gurutze ugariak…

When I decided to turn back to Valcarlos due to rain, she made sure that the pilgrim she’d driven past hadn’t got lost. It turns out this is her daily routine - making sure we all get across safely. I am on a pilgrimage. I crossed Pyreness. And I met this place. It was good for me. Everything was convenient for pilgrimage. Beds, shower facilities, laundry and so on. And volunteers were kind and friendly.
Well organized. For 4 euros you can have your clothes washed and dried ( they will bring it at your bed). We loved the facility after our first rainy Camino day. Excellent dinner for 11 euros at the restaurant nearby
This is a huge facility accommodating alot of Peregrinos. Check in was a little cumbersome but the faciltiies were clean, new and very modern. Appreciated the to-your-bunk laundry service. Food is excellent at the associated restaurants.
I can understand why some people give three stars for this place, about 260 beds on one floor, but limited bathrooms. But I think it is a great place to stay, it’s tidy clean, well organised. Breakfast and dinner are good, it has ham included.
